ZYN Ultra Arctic Mint 9mg

ZYN Ultra Arctic Mint 9mg is a tobacco-free nicotine pouch built around a cold, straightforward mint. Each pouch holds 9mg of nicotine, and PouchMart ships it across Canada as a single can, a 5 Pack or a 3 x 5 Pack.

What does ZYN Ultra Arctic Mint taste like?

Plain cold mint, done properly. There is no fruit, no candy sweetness and no herbal wander — just a clean mint body with a strong cooling edge that arrives early and stays level. The "Arctic" in the name is about the chill rather than a separate flavour, and the cooling is the loudest thing in the pouch.

Compared with peppermint it is less sweet and less distinct as a flavour; compared with wintergreen it is far less medicinal. This is the pouch to reach for when you want cold and clean rather than something to taste — it is the mint equivalent of plain soda water, and that is exactly why a lot of people keep it as their default.

How strong is ZYN Ultra Arctic Mint?

Each pouch contains 9mg of nicotine. On the PouchMart scale that is the medium tier.

Our tiers are low (under 6mg), medium (6–10mg), strong (10–14mg), extra strong (14–20mg) and ultra strong (20mg and above). At 9mg this sits at the top of the medium band — a practical everyday level rather than a heavy one. Note that "Ultra" is ZYN's own range name rather than a strength claim; our tier labels are applied across every brand in the shop.

That makes it approachable for anyone stepping up from a lower strength, and sustainable for regular daily use. If 9mg is more than you want, the low strength range sits below it. If you are already comfortable here, the strong strength collection is the next step.

How do you use a nicotine pouch?

1. Take one pouch from the can.
2. Place it under your upper lip so it rests against the gum.
3. Leave it where it is — no chewing and nothing to spit.
4. A tingle usually arrives within the first minute as flavour and nicotine release.
5. Remove and dispose of the pouch when you are finished; most cans have a compartment in the lid for used pouches.

One pouch at a time, taken straight from the can.

Why choose ZYN Ultra Arctic Mint?

• Cold and clean — cooling is the point here, with nothing competing for attention.
• 9mg, top of the medium tier — an everyday strength rather than a heavy one.
• No sweetness — useful if fruit and candy pouches get cloying over a long session.
• Easy to use all day — the kind of flavour that does not tire out.
• Tobacco-free — nicotine without tobacco leaf, smoke or vapour.

Which pack size should you order?

The 1 Can is the sensible first purchase if you have not had a heavily cooled mint before. The 5 Pack is the usual restock for people who have made this their default. The 3 x 5 Pack - Best Value Option is the lowest cost per can and the right choice once it is a fixture. Stock is shared across all three pack sizes, so the availability figure shown here is the true one.

Frequently asked questions

Why is it called Ultra if 9mg is only your medium tier?

"Ultra" is ZYN's own name for this range. Our strength tiers run across every brand we stock, and 9mg falls in the medium band.

Is this a good first pouch?

It is a reasonable one if mint is what you want, though 9mg sits at the top of medium. Anyone completely new to nicotine pouches would be better starting lower.

How does it differ from a peppermint pouch?

Less sweet and less flavour-forward. Arctic Mint leads with cold; peppermint leads with taste.

Does ZYN contain tobacco?

No. ZYN pouches are all-white and tobacco-free. They contain nicotine but no tobacco leaf, and there is no smoke or vapour involved.

How should the cans be stored?

Somewhere cool and dry with the lid closed. Some people refrigerate spare cans to help the pouches hold moisture and flavour.

For adult nicotine users only. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.
