VELO Rich Elachi Original 10 mg (PK)

VELO Rich Elachi Original 10 mg is a tobacco-free nicotine pouch built around elaichi — cardamom — giving it a warm, aromatic spice with a cool finish behind it. Each slim pouch holds 10 mg of nicotine, and PouchMart ships it across Canada as a single can, a 5 Pack or a 3 x 5 Pack.

What does VELO Rich Elachi taste like?

Cardamom is the whole idea here. It comes through aromatic and lightly sweet, with the faintly resinous, almost floral quality the spice has when it's fresh. There's no heat to it — this is a fragrant spice, not a hot one. A cool note runs underneath and stops the flavour from feeling dense, so it finishes clean rather than lingering like a dessert.

Nothing else on the shelf tastes like it. If your rotation is mint and fruit, Rich Elachi will be the most unusual pouch you own — closer to spiced chai or a cardamom sweet than to anything cooling or berry-led. Some people keep it as the pouch they reach for when everything else has started tasting the same. If you only ever want fresh and sweet, it won't convert you.

How strong is VELO Rich Elachi?

Each pouch contains 10 mg of nicotine, placing Rich Elachi in the strong tier on the PouchMart scale.

The full scale reads low (under 6mg), medium (6–10mg), strong (10–14mg), extra strong (14–20mg) and ultra strong (20mg and above). Ten milligrams is the opening of the strong band — a firm, clearly felt release, and more than most people want for a first pouch.

Experienced adult users will find it straightforward. If you're newer to the format, work up through the medium strength range before trying this one. Already comfortable at 10 mg and looking for more? The extra strong range is where to go next.

How do you use a nicotine pouch?

1. Take one pouch from the can.
2. Position it under your upper lip, against the gum.
3. Leave it in place — no chewing, nothing to spit out.
4. A tingle typically arrives inside the first minute as flavour and nicotine release.
5. Remove it when you've finished and dispose of it; most cans carry a compartment in the lid for used pouches.

Just one pouch at a time, used straight from the can.

Why choose VELO Rich Elachi?

• A cardamom-led flavour — aromatic spice in a category that is overwhelmingly mint and fruit.
• Warm without being hot — fragrant spice, not chilli heat, with a cool note keeping it clean.
• 10 mg per pouch — strong tier, suited to regular adult nicotine users.
• Breaks up flavour fatigue — a useful pouch to have when mint has stopped registering.
• Tobacco-free — no tobacco leaf, no smoke, no vapour.

Which pack size should you order?

Cardamom is a flavour people tend to have an opinion about, so the 1 Can is genuinely the right first order here — more so than with a mint or a berry. Once you know it works for you, the 5 Pack keeps a supply on hand, and the 3 x 5 Pack - Best Value Option brings the per-can price down the most for committed buyers. Stock is shared across all three pack sizes, so the availability figure shown is the accurate one.

Frequently asked questions

What is elaichi?

Elaichi is cardamom — the aromatic green pod used across South Asian cooking, in chai and in sweets. That's the flavour this pouch is built on.

Is it a spicy pouch?

Not in the hot sense. Cardamom is fragrant rather than fiery, so expect aroma and warmth, not burn.

Who tends to like Rich Elachi?

People who already enjoy cardamom in food or drink, and experienced pouch users looking for something outside the mint-and-fruit routine.

Should a beginner start with this one?

Better not. At 10 mg it's in the strong tier, which is a lot for a first pouch regardless of how much you like the flavour.

Does it leave a strong aftertaste?

The cool note keeps the finish reasonably clean. The cardamom aroma fades fairly quickly once the pouch is out.

For adult nicotine users only. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.
