VELO Polar Mint Intense 14 mg (PK)

VELO Polar Mint Intense 14 mg is a tobacco-free nicotine pouch built on pure icy peppermint — sharp, clean and ultra-cooling with no fruit or sweetness attached. Each pouch contains 14mg of nicotine, placing it in the extra-strong tier. PouchMart ships it across Canada in single cans, 5 Packs and 3 x 5 Packs.

What does VELO Polar Mint taste like?

Peppermint at full volume. The cooling lands early and runs deep, and the mint underneath is crisp and clean rather than sugary — there is nothing rounding it off. That deliberate plainness is the appeal: the flavour does one job and does it thoroughly, and the freshness holds long after the first wave has passed.

Against a standard mint pouch, this is the colder and more emphatic version. Against fruit varieties, it is the opposite approach entirely — no sweetness at all, just sensation. It is the pouch people keep for mornings, after meals, or any point in the day when they want a hard reset rather than a flavour to enjoy slowly.

How strong is VELO Polar Mint Intense?

Each pouch carries 14mg of nicotine — the extra-strong tier, which on the PouchMart scale runs from 14mg to 20mg.

Our bands are low (under 6mg), medium (6–10mg), strong (10–14mg), extra strong (14–20mg) and ultra strong (20mg and above). Two separate things are intense about this product and it is worth keeping them apart: the cooling sensation, which is a flavour effect, and the 14mg of nicotine, which is a strength figure. Both are at the higher end.

That combination makes it a poor first pouch. Start in the medium strength range and get used to the format before taking on a pouch this cold. Users already comfortable here who want to go further will find the ultra strong range above it.

How do you use a nicotine pouch?

1. Take one pouch from the can.
2. Slide it under your upper lip against the gum.
3. Leave it in place — pouches are not chewed and nothing is spat out.
4. A tingle comes within the first minute, and with this one the cold follows quickly.
5. Remove and dispose of the pouch when you are done; most cans have a lid compartment for used pouches.

One pouch at a time, and nothing needs preparing beforehand.

Why choose VELO Polar Mint Intense?

• Maximum cooling — one of the coldest mint profiles VELO makes.
• No sweetness — useful if sugary pouches leave a residue you dislike.
• 14mg — extra-strong nicotine to match the intensity of the flavour.
• Clean finish — leaves the mouth feeling fresh rather than coated.
• Tobacco-free — all-white pouch, no tobacco leaf, no smoke, no vapour.

Which pack size should you order?

Cooling this strong is worth a trial run, so take the 1 Can if you have not used a polar-style mint before — some people find it too much, and there is no point discovering that with a multipack in the cupboard. Committed mint users generally move straight to the 5 Pack, and the 3 x 5 Pack - Best Value Option is the cheapest per can for daily use. The three sizes are served from one stock pool, so the availability shown on this page is the real figure.

Frequently asked questions

Is Polar Mint colder than a regular peppermint pouch?

Considerably. This is built specifically around the cooling sensation, where a standard peppermint balances flavour and chill more evenly.

Does the cooling last the whole pouch?

The peak is in the early minutes, then it settles into a steady coolness that carries on through the session.

Is there any sweetener in it?

It tastes dry rather than sweet. The character comes from the mint and the cooling, not from sugariness.

Can I use it with coffee?

Many people do, though the contrast is strong. Some prefer to finish a drink first and use the pouch afterwards.
